Therefore, a bibliographic survey was conducted on the publications with this topic, available at the SciELO database, considering the period between 2002 and 2021, resulting in a <em>corpus</em> with 24 texts. Content analysis procedures were used with the <em>corpus</em>, showing nine wide themes/areas of research. Results show that most publications are concentrated in a single journal, with an increase in the amount of articles published in the period analyzed. One can also see a predominance of authors connected to institutions located in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. From the themes which emerged from the <em>corpus</em>, one can also see a predominance of studies on teaching/learning materials and methodological choices. The conclusion suggests that other databases and institutions should be surveyed, in order to identify productions outside the Rio/Sao Paulo zone. In addition, the nine themes identified in this study show both aspects in the teaching of German which lack additional research (for example, historical analyses) and aspects which are more consolidated as research themes (for example, teaching/learning materials).</p> ER -
