Cadernos de Linguística is now part of the PCI Registered Reports-friendly (PCI RR-friendly) network of journals supported by the Peer Community in Registered Reports (PCI RR). The journal adopts the PCI RR evaluation criteria and accepts, without further peer review, any Registered Report (RR) that receives a positive final recommendation on the PCI RR platform.
PCI RR conducts the full Stage 1 and Stage 2 assessment of RR preprints, examining the research question, methodological plan, planned analyses, and the correspondence between the approved protocol and the completed manuscript. After a positive recommendation, authors may submit the approved version directly to Cadernos de Linguística.
Submissions via PCI RR must include:

The URL to the PCI RR recommendation and reviews;

A statement confirming that the manuscript is identical to the recommended version;

A cover letter indicating that the submission follows the PCI RR track.
The editorial office will check only (a) whether the submitted manuscript matches the recommended version and (b) whether it fits the journal’s disciplinary scope.
