Call for theme issues — INTERAB 14
Proposals are open until July 6, 2025, for thematic issues linked to the 14th International Congress of Abralin — INTERAB 14, which will take place from March 2 to 6, 2026, in Recife.
Approved proposals will be included in the official congress program as thematic symposia, fostering dialogue between scientific publishing and in-person academic debate, and resulting in a special publication in Cadernos de Linguística.

Academic recognition: Prêmio Abralin
The Prêmio Abralin honors academic and professional contributions of outstanding quality and impact in the field of linguistics.
Among its categories, the prize for best article published in the association’s journals, including Cadernos de Linguística, stands out. In addition to public recognition, the award strengthens academic CVs, making them more competitive in academic evaluations and selection processes.

Cadernos de Linguística is now part of the discussions promoted by the Sciety platform, an open initiative that connects reviews, commentary, and curation of preprints.
By participating in this network, the journal aims to promote transparency in scientific evaluation and foster open and collaborative dialogue in the field of linguistics and beyond.

Cadernos de Linguística joins the Brazilian Reproducibility Network
Cadernos de Linguística is now part of the Brazilian Reproducibility Network (RBR). Among the few journals initially invited, it is the only linguistics journal in this important national initiative.
RBR is a multidisciplinary network dedicated to promoting transparent, reproducible, and reliable research practices in Brazil, connecting researchers, academic journals, and institutions.
As a member of RBR, the journal will contribute to setting criteria for admitting new journals, take part in ongoing discussions on open science, and support training initiatives, policy dialogue, and metascience.
